Anyone have a set of plates laying around that they could measure for me? I got the axle without the plates so I cannot measure them myself. I would need a measurement for all the holes.

Also I need to know what size bolt/stud goes into the housing for the plates.

I would go and buy a set from one of our vendors, but i have a fabricator willing to show me how to make them for just the price of the plate steel.

I did a search and didn't come up with much, any help would be great.

5/8th course for bolts to pass side pad.

i made a few sets of plates from 3/4 bar stock and run them for years no problems.

So you just ran bar stock across the spring? As in 2 pieces across the u-bolts? I might be a little confused lol.

no 1 big solid plate just like a top plate.

i just happen to have some 6" wide by 20ft lengths of it at my disposal at the time so i cut off a few chunks.

Ok, thats what i plan on using. except 1/2" instead of 3/4". My brain was confused last night lol. :doah:

IMHO, I would replace the passenger side studs with a ubolt while making new plates.
