1/2 ton status
Today I bought a fairly clean 71 chevy cheyane 1/2t long bed 4x4. It has a new engine350, transth350, rebuiltNP205, bearings, hubs, brakes, new radiator, and various small parts. Im buying it from my boss for $3500, it needs body work but the only rust it has is the pass side rocker panel, the rest is small dings and a big dent on the floor of the bed. Its the nicest 67-72 I have owned by far. Its a very nice truck for a Utah original, and will be a great resto start. Thats the yeehaw part as it is my favorite body style other than I would rather a short stepside.
The dagnabit part is, I have a few parts trucks lined up to buy for my crew cab project. 2, 93-94 K2500 6.5TD, NV4500 trucks and a 86 CUCV with new engine, trans, and it has a D60 front. After buying this 71 I may not be able to buy any of these other parts trucks. But when a deal is too good to pass up you gotta do what you gotta do right?
I know what your all thinking; PICS PICS PICS, but that will have to wait at least until my days off when I can go get the truck. Sorry
