sounds like you guys need to move or worry about what people are doin to there rigs in your area /forums/images/graemlins/screwy.gif other then that bout time to start building a bridge to get over the river you people just cried /forums/images/graemlins/whistling.gif
 
There are idiots in my area too, they just dont go bragging on a GM truck board about their idiotic actions.

Once again, someone from the SW disagrees, imagine that. If you lived up here you would sing a different tune.
 
I havent always been from the southwest. I have lived in alabama I have lived in Indiana and other places. I do appreciate my truck but I bought a truck for a purpose and so does he. Just b/c I bought a rust free truck for the same reason you want to yet I use mine for a different purpose doesnt mean I am destroying it. I started with a rust free truck and am modifying it to what I want. What about the guys on this board with straight bodies but tons of rust and mud sitting underneath there truck. Isnt that destroying a truck. Ask MTBLAZER89 and Justin (cant remember his screenname) the other guys from fallon about how well my rig is taken care of. I wheel my rig hard in every type of offroad situation and yet when I come home from that trip within 24 hrs my truck is spotless with no rust, or mud and the entire undercarriage is repainted and cleaned. And we (being we seem to be stereotyping the south west) do respect older cars. What about the 72 supersize is building or the 70 GMC me and my buddy are restoring to original. Dont make generalizations and dont judge someone on what they do to their truck or what they do with their money. I know all of you with more experience and wisdom then me are going to say I dont know what I am talking about. But just look at it from someone elses point of view. Do you want me to rag on your rig and what you have done and how you have done it? No. So leave the guy alone. Like I said in my previous some of us work 2 or more jobs to do to our trucks what we want so dont criticize us for it. Just close the thread and move on. I like seeing the progression of peoples rigs Especially supersize because he does nice work and isnt afraid to use what he built a 4wd truck.

And on the different nore arent you the same members of the "4wd community/ family" who flame rjfguitar about making his rig nice and bling. Why? Because you dont like it. Well for those of you that dont like my rig I dont car4e. If I ask your opinion or ask you a question than I would like your opinion and it will be appreciated but if you are just going to flame and criticize (especially when an opinion wasnt asked for) just grow up and close the thread. but if he's proud of his dents and wants to use his bragging rights more power to him.I know i'll be posting pics of my rust free 83 k5 with dents as soon as i can get my hands on one of those fancy cameras to take some pics.
 
I dont see any similarities between what you do with your rig and what supersize does with his. You wheel yours, maybe get some body damage, but keep the truck pretty nice overall. He gets a nice rig, runs it into stuff ON PURPOSE, brags about it on here, fixes it, then does it again. Thats GAY and if he is going to do it he needs not brag to us about it cause me and plenty of others do not want to hear the boasts of a person who obviously gives off-roaders everywhere a bad name.

i dont see anything saying he did any of it on purpose i just thought he wheels more and goes further and tighter places

I am from the north and disagree. It's his truck let him do what he wants!!! Sure, he's young and I dont care for how he has a nicer truck and then one day it's trashed... But it's his so oh well... Just becuase its an older truck, what does that matter or that it's rust free. They make new panels everyday.....

"I" get it 100%. Sometimes I'd give my left n*t for a completely rust free truck... But I deal with what I have.

But I fail to see how it affects you personally. I dont want to get in a flame war here. But what was said earier IMO, applies.

Its his money (maybe his parents' money, I doubt it) but its still his. If he wants to drive it off a bridge, fine. Just dont hurt anyone else. If he wants to cut it up, so be it.

I can't stand to see what he does sometimes, but in the end, its his call. PERIOD.

If you want a rust free truck, buy one. Go to Cali or AZ and buy one. Or have a member here from that area look at a couple in the area for you. (I'm sure someone down there would do it happily)

He paid for his truck and his membership. Enough said.

Opinions are fine,but posting up for the sole purpose of taking a shot at someone or name calling childish and iritating.

Oh yea,I bought a rust free 74 C20 as a donor for my project.Kept the cab and front clip,cut the rest up into little pieces and threw it away.

I dont need a truck, thats not the point. The point is that he bashed it for no reason other than to post on here what he did and to show off for his friends. You guys would really not say anything if you saw some punk kid at your local wheeling spot take a nice rig and bounce it off of trees just for the sake of bashing it up and bragging about it later? If you did not say anything, you would certainly be thinking what I am thinking right now (at least I hope you would as fellow GM truck lovers). I guess you guys just dont care enough about them to cringe when you see this. /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif Also, I did not post what I did because I do not like him, the memory of the deal gone bad from last year did not even enter my mind until after the post was written.

Nope not a bad person at all, once again I guess you guys just dont get what I feel when I see this. Anyway, of course I am going to click on this post to see what he says, and if I see something I strongly disagree with I will speak up. The only person that should be mad about what I said is him, I see nothing that you guys have done that gives me the same ill feeling as his antics have done.
