Dana 44/10 Bolt Crossover/Hi-Steer Arms GROUP BUY

Well KennyW, it seems like you have a little bit more interest, if you are able to finish the machining. I'm planning on moving this summer, so hopefully you can work this out before then.

Patiently,
Buddy

I should have it all done by then... my father in law is finishing up the big jobs that pushed this project to the side. So if all goes well I'll be able to finish them up before the next job comes in. I'll keep everyone posted.

Like wise with the rest If another chance on a second batch comes up put me on the list! These look awesome! I have no problem payin a little more to make this happen.

Unfortunatley getting this first batch done has been difficult. I'm not planning on running any more at this time.

Hey KennyW! How are things going with this? Is there light at the end of the tunnel? I'm asking because I recently ran into a SMOKING deal on a new steering box ($25.00 shipped!!!) so now I'm itchin' to get the crossover done on my K5. Not a big hurry, but I am looking for an update.

Thanks,
Buddy

I think I can see the light somewhere down there... but I'm waiting on someone else's schedule to free up a bit to finish still. I am however going to set a date for memorial day. If I can not get them finished by then I am going to refund everyone's money so I'm not holding anyone elses cash while I wait :doah: Again, if anyone changes their mind and doesn't want to wait, just let me know and I'll refund the cash now.

As I sit now every penny I got up front is tied up into material and tooling to do the job. I'm not going to let any of it go to waste (as none of it can be returned), but going to any machine shop off the street puts the finish product at a higher cost than buying from other established vendors out there.

Sometimes I think I should quit trying to do everything so cheap though :doah: :doah:

Don't worry about me, Kenny. I've got plenty of patience, and only one truck that doesn't have a 60, so I'm in no hurry.
Thanks for the update.

Memorial Day is more than quick enough! I still need to figure out a draglink/tie-rod & get the passenger knuckle machined, (once I get it off). Gives me a little bit of a schedule as well. This sounds great!

Thanks,
Buddy

Would you be willing to share the plans? A freind of mine has a machine shop and gives me great rates when he is slow...

Just checking in ith you here KennyW. Still on target for mem. day?

Later,
Buddy

Well kennyw, I'm now in Las Vegas, so if that'llsave some shipping let me know, & I'll give you an addressyou can send these to when you get them finished.

Lemme know,

Buddy

Yes, PM me the new address. Shipping would still be the same in a flat rate box though.

Yeah, I'd say we're past the point of reasonable here.

At the least we should be seeing some serious groveling...

I keep offering refunds because it's taking too long... at the price I've sold them I can't take them to a new machine shop to get finished. All I can do is wait for my father-in-law to squeeze them in when his shop is slow. Unfortunatley he hasn't been very slow since I started this.

Anyone wanting their money back to go elsewhere just let me know and you will have it. I only took money up front because I had a window where my FIL's shop was slow and thought it was going to get done fairly quick. That backfired on me though :doah:

Sorry for the ****ty reply, it was a bit unwarranted especially in a public forum. That post caught me at a bad time and I had missed the earlier offer of a refund.

That said. This is your father-in-law aren't there some strings you can pull somewhere?

I'll be patient for a while longer. Again, my apologies.

I'm not a paying customer and he has to keep his paying customers happy. The whole reason for the cheap deal was getting the machine time for nearly nothing and always being at the end of the line if something came up... that also left me in a position of not being able to use another shop because the labor/machine time alone would be double what I charged for the arms :doah:

Right now your money worth of steel is sitting there cut to length... just wouldn't do much good to try and bolt it on yet :haha: But if your ready to take your money to one of the vendors that have these already on a shelf I'd be happy to refund your money as well.
