Dana 44/10 Bolt Crossover/Hi-Steer Arms GROUP BUY

Cheapest I have found new is $75 at SKY. Beat that with comparable quality and I bet you'll have some takers. When you say 'crossover/high steer' do you mean 'crossover or high steer' (2 types of arms), or 'and highsteer' (they would all have draglink mounting points).
 
The arms have 2 holes on the passenger side and one hole on the drivers side for both crossover and high steer. After pricing out the material tonight... I can have them made for $45 per arm. Quality will be similar to Sky and other vendors. Parts will be test fit on my truck to be sure they work as well.

This is a one time deal though. I'm not doing this as a business, just thought I would throw this out before I have him make me one set. Once the machine is setup it isn't much to run more parts.
 
If you get some pics up and they are actual quality then I would be interested.
 
I'm pricing them out at 2-1/2" thick. I can get 5 sets out of one 8' stick of material so if there is 10 people and half want tall/half want short I could do both. I can't get pics until after they are built though... at that point I may not have any extra's. But I might.
 
I can vouch for the quality, no one on this site I've dealt with will have a problem backing me up on my word. If there is any problem with the quality I won't send out the parts, I'd have them redone or refund the money.

Now another thing to consider! What do you think the total would be to complete the set-up?
 
I thought this mod was down the line for me but for a deal like that, I'd be in. I haven't done my research though what do I need to know about the tall or short styles?
 
Looks like I have 3 definite and 5 maybes? I'd just ask for at least a 50% deposit from everyone that is ready for now. That will buy the material. I'll let this run until Wednesday of next week then buy the material for those that have paid and start making parts. I would then need the balance plus shipping cost (I can ship these in a flat rate box for $8.95/pair). I'll PM everyone with paypal info.

How much it will cost to complete this depends on what kind of deals you can get on the remaining parts. Here are some prices I know of:

2wd Steering box or sector shaft: $Used Varies
Stud kit: $29 ea from Sky or NWF (or salvage used ones from another axle FREE)
Custom Crossover/High steering tie rod: $85 ea NWF
OR
build your own with threaded inserts $8.50 ea + Jam Nuts $3.50 ea Sky
Steering arm ends $35-65 ea NWF or your local parts store
Machining Flat Top Knuckle $45 Sky Manufacturing or Muddytazz

The tall style is for leaf spring trucks to avoid the use of spacers under the arm.
 
What is the consensus on high steer for a D44/10B? I have heard that it is a bad idea. I know I need to go crossover, but I haven't decided on high steer.
