Ok i saw a post in the for sale forum that has me thinking.

I believe you can run 15" steel rims on a Dana 60 with alot of grinding, so my question is: Can you put dana 44 or Corp. 10 Bolt 6 lug rotors and calipers on Dana 60 and run 15" aluminum rims?

Any disadvantage to this besides loosing 2 extra lug nuts?

Can it be done, probably.........but I'm sure it would take quite a bit of work and fabrication. You might want to check with places like Dynatrac as they can make front Dana 60's with 5 or 6 lug bolt patterns, but I'm not sure if they are modified 60 rotors or if they start with something else.

That is something I had not thought about. bigd is selling a Dana 60 right now that I'm seriously thinking of buying. He stated that it has D44 3/4 ton 8lug rotors and calipers so that it will fit 15"wheels. Is this a direct bolt in? Anybpdy heard of that. That must mean that D44 stuff bolts up to the D60!? Maybe somebody here can spell it out for us uneducated in the swappability between D44 and D60 from the spindle out!!!

I think you can run that setup. I have read and heard of people doing it ...Dana 60 with 15x10's that is..

I will be running 15x10 with 4 1/8 backspacing on a 60. It is alot of grinding but it is not that bad of a job to do. I will try and finish it up this weekend and post pics. Also if you can use 3/4 ton 44 brakes on a 60 you will still need to grind.
