1/2 ton status
Hello, everyone.
I was an active member some time ago until I sold the K5 a few years ago (wife, kids, etc.) but now I'm back with a '73 K20. Lots of new faces, good to be back.
Anyway, the original Dana 44 has the large external Spicer hubs that are hard to come by. They are in decent shape with the exception of one of the plastic dials, so I'd like to rebuild them. There are a few online sources that sell the red "Ford" ones but they appear to be sold out. Does anyone know where I can find these? I could care less if they are the Ford ones as long as they work.
I'd like to stick with the original hubs because I'm running the original dog dish hub caps and if I buy a new set of aftermarket external hubs, they don't quite fit right in the hub cap hole (not to mention paying extra).
