Dana 60 is sitting a little crooked under the front of the truck. I was walking by the truck and something looked off, sure enough the driver side of the axle is sitting more forward than the passenger side.

I installed a new set of 52" springs yesterday which shouldn't have any offset in the center pin.

My center pin hole in the drivers side spring perch is a little wallowed out. I have a new Dana 60 specific spring perch that I will eventually burn on there to fix that issue but I don't thing that is the problem... it's only wallowed out maybe 1/8" or a little larger than the head of center pin that seats into it.

Any ideas here?

Shackles are the same length on both sides, front spring eyes are both mounted in the same set of holes on the B52's on each side.

It might be possible that the aftermarket spring is slightly offset in the pin. Maybe there is a front and a back...

Time to measure...

That was my first thought, way too much crookedness for that wallowed out center pin hole in the perch. I don't remember having this issue with the stock 52's that were under there either.

I've got poly bushings I need to install in the springs anyway, figured I'd leave the rubber ones since they are brand new but now I have multiple reasons to pull the springs again.

After taking the pics and looking at where the center pin sits in the spring plates the pins do seem to be offset...

I installed the springs like this due to the steel bushing sleeve having a flange that protrudes out of the spring eye. I orientated them so the flanges were both facing the same way (inward). I like symetry... I figure that the spring manufacturer like s ymetry too...

I initially installed the springs with the info stickers on the springs both at the rear until I noticed the sleeve flanges on the spring eyes facing ooposite ways, one side inward and one side outward, so I swapped the one that I was working on around.

Said flanges facing the same way (inward towards eachother).

Non-flanged side facing out.

Stickers on opposite ends (driver side at shackle, passenger side at B52) due to how I placed the springs for what I thought to be common sense reasons...

In the pics the truck appears to be leaning to the passanger side. That would mean the ps spring is a little flatter at the moment. As arched springs flatten they get longer.

Jack up the ps frame rail until the truck sits level and I'd bet the wheels will be centered.

Brand new springs... when I laid the on the ground, they were the same height.

Ok, I see what you mean with the center pins being offset. Still looks like the truck is leaning a bit though.

I dig the pvc tie rod and drag link.

It's definitely leaning about 2" or so on the passenger side.

I'm pretty sure it's due to the drivers side part of the axle being more forward than the passenger side at this point.

The 52's up front are new, rear 64's are off an '03 2500, laid them out next to eachother when I got them and they both had the same amount of arch to them.

All of my spring hangers and shackle hangers are mounted in the same spot on each side, shackles are all the same length...

Gotta be an offset pin.

And thanks lol. Ordering some DOM from RuffStuff soon to make the Drag Link and Tie-Rod.

By any chance, do you have shims installed?

Perhaps one on bottom only on ds, and one on top and bottom on the ps?
