I recently bought a '78 K30 and it does not have lockout hubs on it. It just has what resembles a hub cover for a trailer axle or something (reference the picture below). Is this a factory drive flange I guess??? Does the cover just pop off like a wheel bearing cover for a trailer axle??? Thanks for the help.

ya that cover pops off and theres a drive flange under there. i will trade you a set of warn premium hubs for those drive flanges. i could use a set, thanks jason.

Having these hubs on a '78 will mean your transfercase is the NP203 and the tranny is a TH 400.

Then your D60 should have the Spicer lockouts if it runs the 205 case.

Thats weird. Never seen a truck with a part time t-case and solid slugs.

only if no one ever did any modifications to the truck, which is really rare anymore.
