dana 60 king pin brass bushing kit?

So, when I assemble this thing do I just leave the plastic busing out, use the brass bushing in it's place, then assemble it as normal using the spring and everything else?

I ordered a set of these things too. Along with one of Balistics springless arm's for the passenger side and a springless cap for the drivers. My buddy has been sending me videos of various things on the truck...Today I got one showing the death wobble. His comments are hilarious! So I know the truck will benefit from all this stuff. Also bought an XJ shaft from someone on here. Hopefully my steering will be tight when I get back....Tight, tight like a tiger. :haha:

Yep.

yep the new better bushing just replaces the stock white plastic one. thay fit real snug in the knuckle . a lot tighter than the plastic one.

then line up the notch in the knuckle to the grove in the new bushing and drop in the supplyed roll pin to keep it from spinning around. then assemble as normal.

if you want to add a bit more tension to the spring on a reg setup its easy. if you have a reman kit with all the parts. just reuse your spring index washer on top of the new spring. will act as a spacer like others do with a fender washer to tighten them up.

ya know what we need this as there is a lot on this subject

bigger bucket :haha:

very true :haha:. I have never seen the big bucket before! Quick story, have been waiting on a refund since Dec 15. Called once a month since then. Finally ordered a batt box from them on april 26. Should be here tomorrow. Only thing I can say is, they gave me the box shipped for free, around $13 above my credit after I wined. I also pmed them last Wed and nathan called me and told it would be shipping tomorrow, the 12th and it did. make of it what you will.

I forgot!!! I now remember when I ordered my arms from them, They forgot the hardware. I forgot about all the Balistic threads that are out there. My bad, I forgot about them. I need to delete them from my favorites on my web browser.

I bought my springless crossover arms from WFO. Great price, fantastic product. The supplied instructions say to torque to 14 lb-ft for the preload. At that torque, it is difficult to turn the knuckle by hand, but with enough force, you can do it - for those of you wanting to go by "feel."

we got our (Mnorby, myself and chevyman) bushings from WFO also. I had problems getting them from Mad Mac, bottom line, bad communication. Of coarse there is as a thread on pirate, its all in his old thread about the bushings.
Wfo was great to deal with though, would call them again in a heart beat. :waytogo:

its not brass. and not a full kit.

just 2 new bushings.

also a vendor on pirate4x4 mad mac is screen name.

Has anybody else had similar problems with CMmachine? I ordered my bushings on Apr 2nd. I got a confirmation email. Expecting them to arrive anytime I recieve an "order completed" email today. The note on the email says "All orders processed in 5-7 business days. Well its been 10. I am not sure if completed means shipped. No shipping info or anything. I am going to call them tomorrow if they dont arrive.

I know its a short period of time, but 2 weeks is a long time when we are talking about a business selling a product that should be on a shelf. I didnt order a custom machined part. I got my WFO arms 4 days after I ordered them :thumb: I didnt buy my bushings from WFO cause they were almost double the price.

I didn't look to see if I responded to a similar question earlier in this thread.

I seem to remember being on Macs ass about not shipping my bushings out in a timely manner. it seems like it took me a month or so to get mine.

He said he had been sick or something. When I spoke with him, he just sounded kind of sickly... He makes good stuff, just kind of tough to actually lay hands on it.

He posted on Pirate that he was in a major accident and would be in a wheel chair for 8 weeks. He was hit by a drunk driver.

He makes extremely nice products, but If you are in a hurry for your parts it would be better to buy the somewhere else. That was before his accident. No telling how long it would take now.

mac seems to have a answer everytime the part is not ready.

had some work done by him and was few weeks to get done. he said he has surgery on his shoulder bla bla bla .

good work and parts if you can wait for him. lots of storys here and pirate on his slow a$$

I'm not sure why WFO is so much higher now, when we got ours it was only $10 more. :dunno: There are numerous stories of slow shipping and bad communication on him on forums. Seems like his products are good, just customer service is down. He tried telling me my paypal address was wrong and it was my fault they got shipped to a wrong address. Just remember you only have 45 days to claim a paypal dispute. I openly documented my interaction with him in his thread on pirate, but now the thread is gone.
