Dana 60 kingpin springs or bushings

Bringing this back to life. I recently purchased a set of diy4x springless high steer arms. I added Pictures of the arms so you all can enjoy the beef of these things.

Question - am i able to eliminate this steering block? I know it wont work with the steering arm.
I do have an 8 inch lift (for now, will eventually come down to a 6inch lift). Will i have problems? Will it cause stress on the steering? Any things i should be worried about if i remove it?

I am guessing you are attempting to do doing high steer with a king pin block spacer? If the steering linkage geometry requires it..I guess. Just make sure the king pin spacer block has studs and not bolts. Bolts cannot stand up to the stress studs can. Try it with the block, and without the block to see what the steering geometry needs. Whith all the modifications I have done to my old square body truck...often times I have to take somthing apart, and put it back together 4 or 5 times before I get it right.

WFO springless but that’s because crossover. No crossover I’d think new OEM stuff with a washer would work fine. I think I adjusted my pre-load once since putting it all together 8ish years and lots of abuse ago.

As for the block, with the new arms come better geometry and a proper angle on the DRE. Next issue would be clearing the leaf stack and arch.

The leaf springs are going away at some point for radius arms. Which is why its gonna be coming down from an 8 inch lift to about a 6 inch lift. Im just waiting on parts.
Should i just wait for my suspension stuff to put the arms on?

I'd guess that you ought to go ahead a F around with the steering. Or just pull the trigger and get the rest of your parts now. Holding on to stuff "waiting" for the other parts to arrive is a waste of time. Work on what you got.
It keeps the tools dirty.

Lol i hate waiting for parts but unfortunately i did my part with purchasing them..
I gotta make sure the drag link will clear the leaf pack, if it does then I'll probably be putting on the new arms. Just wanted to make sure it wasn't gonna cause problems with removing the block.
