Oh, and they are both 456s frt and rear,oh dam, mod can u move to garage? Oops:haha:

If there a good deal snag them! D60s around here are worth gold! Everyone who has them wants a fortune and being 4.56 is even better. The 14 bolt you should def. run! The only downside is the gov lock but if and when you ever want a real locker I can get you an open carrier fairly cheap! They wil handle those 39's much better than the 1/2 tons you have now!

If the 14bolt came from a m1008 it will have a Detroit unless someone messed with it.

And the 14 bolt is damn near bullet proof rear axle. Just count the cover and make sure it has 14 bolts.

Yep those are a Dana 60 and 14 Bolt. You can see the kingpin covers in the picture. If they truly are 4.56 then thats a plus. If they are a good price then jump on them. Gov lock is an ok deal in the 14 bolt and as mentioned easy to convert to a true locker. If they are factory 4.56 axles from a CUCV then yes the rear will be a Detroit locker. Dont mention this to the seller.

Buy them, dummy!!!!

But, know they ORIGINALLY came from an M1008....
They have since lived on a trailer queen.

I'm just saying, don't think theyre gonna be street friendly. :waytogo:

i saw that CL ad and it seems like agood deal for the whole setup.

2300 obo

dana 60 front 456 gears corp 14 bolt rear 456 gears and gov lock. Mrt bead lock wheels 39x18 on 15 inch boggers. 50 %

If it is the detroit 14b i would say that would be a fair price for like 1400-1500 for the front and rear.

So you figure the other 700-800 for the tires. If you could get him down to 2k it would be a screamin deal.

Just know those boggers are going to be DISGUSTING on the road lol

I will let you know when I get them, mike, I will have you come over and sticker them for me:waytogo:

Shhhh! :dunno::haha:

Why are you stuck on the 14 bolt being a "Corporate" axle. Corporate was just GMs naming for certain things they started making around 1980. Came at the same time they updated the 10 bolt to an 8.5in ring, made 10 bolt fronts, and came out with the 14 bolt full floater. It means nothing bad its just a GM rear.

Not stuck on anything per say,i was told the m1008s come with ff ing 14s, but idk, im a newb lol

They do. It's the "corporate 14 bolt" means the same thing. I have a set from a 1008 in mine. 4.56's with a detroit in back. Picked them up for $1,100 and put another $250 in them plus the $100 for kert's rear diff cover :thumb:

Thanks!. Another thing,,,,,they are sporting 15 inch wheels, SHOULD the calipers be ground if its a 60? And if there not?

Depends on wheel backspace. If they need to be ground and are not the wheel won't spin... Ask me how I know lol!
