Dana 60 Must haves

Is this a daily driver on 31s or koh racer?
yeah
and I'd skip the bronze bushings, they aren't needed. If it's crossover and big tires, springless arms from WFO are awesome. If it's not crossover and big tires, fresh OEM is always a winner.

Doing crossover (current 44 has crossover now)

I suppose I should give a little backstory. I have no real need for the 60. Putting it in because I got it cheap and want to use it as a learning tool on how to rebuild.

All stock parts would be good for you. Timken wheel bearings and all spicer otherwise. Hit up @swettysblazer and see if he can get you all the spicer parts you need. Make sure your inner axle seal surfaces are nice. The late model seals are nice if you have good seal surfaces.

longfield inner spindle bushing kit over the needle bearing stuff . but as said lots of these upgrades are hardcore or just do it once and be done type of thing .

Yeah this is a mod I need to do

I know before they soild out the original people offered a thread on spindle greaser unit . this threaded on the spindle so you did not need to tear apart the whole front end to lube the bearing every now and then .

glad I got mine for the 60 axles.

would be easy to make tho from a big fender washer / short length of pipe / old spindle nut that fits yours / and a welder / then add a zerk in the end .

pic I found online of one with 2 bushings .

I still vote springless caps. since you're buying steering arms anyway. I double agree with the bushings above, those needle bearings can go straight to hell! :D
