Here is a problem I'm sure has come up. I have a later chevy d60 and I was pulling the hubs off. It has the 4 prong locknut, I have the 4 prong 1/2 ton and the 6 prong 1 ton damnit. Anyway anyone remember where they got theres? Thanks.

Autozone.

FYI.... I have tilted the wrong socket(about 45 degrees)and used an impact and removed the nut. It isn't the best way, but it will work. So does a punch and a hammer.

just buy the 6 prong 1 ton unit, and buy the 6 prong hub nut set for the 14 bolt and put it on the front, now 1 socket takes all 4 hubs off. There the same threads and diameter so the 14 bolt hub nuts work. To take the old ones off, use a punch and hammer until there loose then use you fingers to get them off. Its more practical to have one hub socket that takes off all the hubs instead of having 2 different kinds. kragen, checker, shucks whatever its called around you has them if its not there, go to the next place, thell probably have it.

thanks for all the feedback, advanced and auto zone didnt but i believe i got the right one from auto value. I would have just drifted the old ones off i have a drw and its so far in there it was kinda useless at that angle. Anway thanks everyone.
