Bought a D70HD in pieces, need to put it all back together along with torque specs. I've searched here and Pirate, I'm getting ready to scan though my different GM/Chilton books. Just curious if anyone has something!? :ears:

bump for the morning!
Dana 70 torque specs for the Ring, bearing caps, hubs, what you got?
Otherwise I'm going to torque everything like a 14b! :D

Heh, I just happen to have a specifications sheet for axles from Superior Gear by the computer.

For a Dana 70

Cover Bolts 30-40 FT. LBS
Pin.bearing Preload New 20-40 IN. LBS.
Used 10-20 IN. LBS.
Pinion Nut 220-280 FT. LBS.
Ring Gear Backlash .005-.008
Ring Gear Bolts to Case 100-120 FT. LBS.
Side Bearing Caps 80-108 FT. LBS.

Lets turn this into a Dana70 info post! Anything from brake lines, nuts, spindle sockets...
Links to vendors stuff...

Here are the disk brakes I'm using...

What size hard line for the axle out to the disk brakes?
What valve do I need to split the single line coming from the frame?
