I know this might be a stupid question but I don't know axles. Dana 60 axles out of a ford 1970's what would need to be done to fit them under my 87 Blazer?

They wont work without extensive suspension and driveline modifications. Find a 3/4ton chevy 14-bolt and either a dodge or chevy dana 60.

all you would have to do is put in a married ford 205 and change driveshafts depending on what case you had factory im not sure if a ford 205 is the same length as a chevy or not

teh only 70s ford axles worth using are 77.5-79 open knuckle designs though

'78-'79 front D60's are a direct bolt up.

Fyi, the diff is on the left side so you'll have to swap the t-case as well.
