Dark tinted tail gate glass

I had the dark tinted, tail gate glass in the K5, where he glass was dark, no a film. Well, it was shattered out.. Replaced it with the clear one, but where can i get the dark rear glass? How much?

Just tint the one that you put in. That is what I did with some aftermarket limo tint.

That's basically what the factory dark glass does. It is very $$$ and breaks easily. You are better off applying tint film to the inside of standard glass. That's what I did. Holds up well. Even if the tint film eventually scratches or tears, this may still take longer that it will take you to shatter the tempered glass.
