Dash gauges, 82 to 86 swap. is it possible??

I have an 82 with dummy gauges, and a 86 parts truck with analog gauges.
Can I pull my 82 dash gauge and replace it with the better 86 gauge????
I don't like the dummy lights. THANKS ALL

Yeah there all swap able. i put my 89 cluster in my 79 body

Have the wires figured out into the 1989 gauges working on the 1987 lights now.
Wires from under hood are the same. You must replace the oil and temp sending units to gauge type.

Will post later tonight if I get 87s figured out.

OK I have all the wires figured out on both trucks if anyone needs the ones for an 1987 or a 1989 email me and I will send them to you. Megaladon be sure that the wires in the plugs match I have to add a wire to do mine.
