Dash Question

I have a '90 K5. Unfortunately, someone decided they needed my stereo worse than me and proceded to destroy my plastic bezel getting it out. I have looked in LMC for a replacement. I'm pretty sure mine is the brushed aluminum. However, in LMC's footnote they say "Original silver tinted brushed aluminum is no longer available, GM now supplies a direct replacement bezel with a bronze tinted brushed aluminum finish." Does this mean it's going to have an "orange-ish" look? The other thing is that this particular bezel is $180, while all the rest are $80-$90. Has anyone bought one of these from LMC? Thanks.

Not entirely on your topic but have you checked Ebay? There's always a ton of bezels and gauge cluster paraphernalia on there.

Don't forget you need one from a '89-'91 K5, burban, or 1 ton. The area around the radio is stamped larger than all other years. I found out the hard way when trying to use a '75 bezel. Then it is with ac or not. Alot of times the brushed Alum. can be peeled off and glued on a new one.
