Pull the cover??
Pull the cover??
I would pull cover, move while watching the pinion, but I agree with Darth Vader. If there isn't up/down side to side movement, your goodHave not... Oil looks good in it, Makes no noise.
That's slack everywhere. Not alarming to me unless we were sure the ring gear was absolutely stationary lol.
Does appear to have slight weep at the pinion seal. Any up and down or in and out play of the pinion?
As for the tcase that can be done in truck, just be sure to line up the pump plate and tube that's back there. I'm not sold that that is your leak though.

Well that should keep you busy in the snow eh![]()

There is a bit of side to side up down movement in the pinion. I’ll pull the cover one weekend when i got some time for it.
It looks like that leak from the T/C is at the back of the case...in the first pic of it you can see where the case is clean / washed looking.
The trans pan leaks, the engine oil pan has a leak, the power steering to vacuum pump seal has a bad leak, and the power steering box seems to leak as well! Lol! Not the end of the world I’ll fix them one by one.
Dude, don't fix any...or you'll soon be fixing rust.

Just keep adding oil![]()
Dad is a soft touch...lol

How far away is calgary?Kids.... She just had to get tow mirrors for the Dodge. Kate got Colby to drive with her to Calgary yesterday. the pass mirror had a crack in the glass so she got them for 100.00 bucks.
I swapped the front seats and steering shaft from the parts truck into hers last week. Steers a bit better again and the seat is way better shape than the old one. She was so happy with the improvements she went and got it stuck in the yard!
