Daughters 01 24 valve Dodge

If you come across another hitch like that, snag it. I need one for the 7d7 eh. They are fairly hard to find fwiw.

What’s the scoop with the black wheels?

You can use ford ttb dana 50 parts. You should really look into the swap. Can be done very well for much less than the kit prices.

Yes! Way more my style! I’ve read a bit about that swap. I got a ton of other things to get to before that but something to think about for sure.

One more oil leak fixed last week.

The seal between the vac pump and P/S pump was leaking quite bad when we got the truck. Two of the four studs holding two pumps together where MIA!? I replaced them with some metric bolts I had, Worked good. Just under it today changing the engine oil with some fresh 5/40.

One leak fixed on to the next.

Forgot to take any pics till I had it all back together and on the engine again.

Been doing some rust repair to Kate’s Dodge.
Removed the Stainless trim panels on the bottom of the truck. Replaced the front fenders with the mint ones we found last year. Cut out and welded the rust in the cab corners and rockers. The box had a few spots and the passenger door did too.

Still looking for replacement doors but these will work for now.

I Raptor lined the bottom of the truck were the SS panels used to be. We had the Raptor tinted 2012 GM Graystone Metallic.
Got the tire swapped from the steel wheels over to the third gen Aluminum wheels.
Still needs a ton of work but it looks respectable now.

Changed out the Cam Position Sensor today. Truck sometimes had a rough idle and the tack wouldn’t work. Also engine light was always on.
Supposed difficulties to change one out on the Dodge forums.... Guys must be bitches. :haha:
Easy for me. :dunno:
Anyway running good!

Thanks Dave!

Me and Colby picked up a set of doors for it yesterday too. Same paint code as hers. The passenger door is in good shape the drivers we got will need a lot of rust repair work but it’s not full of bondo and dents. I’ll work on them this summer when I got a chance. Both doors for 200 the pass door was well worth that.

Cool, its fun to find a deal on something to improve your truck!

I have always hated that crappy stainless on trucks. It just hides a place for rust to grow. This thing is getting to be pretty nice, for a Dodge!

Lol! Thanks Luke!

Yeah for a Dodge it is actually getting pretty nice. I keep fixing little things here and there I like it more with everything that gets done. Even got both back extended cab door to work properly while I was fixing the rust.

Had to pull the injection pump off to fix the oil leak on the tappet cover. Colby took care of all that for me. I just did the gasket.

We had to borrow a puller to get the pump off the gear. Man that comes apart with a bang!

The gasket was so dried out it was crumbling. Started leaking so bad it was undriveable.

Next is the power steering box leak from the input seal. It’s dripping so bad I got to check it every other day. After that the transfer case needs to come out for a reseal. Lol!
