Daughters 01 24 valve Dodge

Well looks like I focked up on the door purchasing! The doors I got are for a club cab, or they fit single cab but not extended cab that the doors open in the back. Figured that out today when I brought on up to the garage for rust repairs.
Im not too pissed the drivers door is rusted worse than I thought. Only payed 200 for the two of them and the one is good so they should sell quickly.

I actually made that same mistake on my 02. The single cab doors don’t have the same bottom corner angle as the quad cab bottoms

Truck has been down for a few days,I haven’t had time to play with it. Anyway the transfer case decided it liked All the oil on the outside! Whoever had this apart before we got it must have thought it didn’t need to be sealed?
I haven’t even touched the case halves in the pictures, there is almost no silicone on it at all!

I bet someone put a super thin bead on and then squished the shit out of it so the silicone literally squished out to each side.

Good thing it didn't burn up from lack of oil.
I check all the oils on it before it leaves anywhere for a long drive.
The transfer case has always leaked a bit.
Katelyn started a collage practicum at a vet clinic last week about a 40 minute drive. I made sure everything was full before she started Monday, last Thursday there was a big leak under the truck. So we had her drive our Touareg till I had time to fix it. Colby and I stayed up late after milking last night and got it all back together. We took it for a short test drive last night and it is nice and dry. Sure looks better all clean and shiny under there.

Today she took our car again! :doah:

Reminds me of an '89 Cherokee I had bought right before moving to Utah from Wisconsin. It had been "rebuilt" but was at 294k miles. I found out after driving on the freeway for hours that it had shit tons of blow-by. So much that it would coat the entire underside and rear hatch with oil. I would stop for gas and it would leave a 2 door Cherokee size patch of oil drips on the cement coming off everything.

Third gen wheels are where it’s at. Waiting on some 37”s to show up for my 01. H2s would be the only other wheels I would run, I had a set of the new style H2s on my third gen891ED67E-F257-437B-B674-D8E1E412C126.jpeg

If you haven’t done third gen front brakes yet, it’s a game changer. 1” bigger disks. Worth every penny. You just need caliper brackets and rotors for a third gen.
