Some new headlight bulbs and way more clear housings was today’s upgrade.
I don’t know about any of you guys but I hate it when the dip sticks vibrate loose. Added a spring to the engine oil a long time ago. Worked good so I added one the the trans stick today as well.

I need a master cylinder for mine, after doing some checking around it seems the ones built before 7-4-01 had drums, the ones after 7-5-01 had discs.
Yeah I was told 01 and a half and 02 only for the D 70 and I believe the master cylinder is different for the disk brake tucks…but that could be that the trucks with D80s have a different master. I never changed anything but the rear end and the brakes seem to work fine on this one.

Upset cause she was woke up by something looked out her window and seen the lights on in her truck.
Yup as we totally knew it would happen some kunt tried to steal her truck. We didn’t want her to take it to college but the road conditions sucked and she needed 4x4.
They punched out both door locks and tried to ge get past the column lock but failed. Glad we had that installed or it would be gone.

Assholes! I hate the city for that reason. All our shit has keys in it all the time. When I take my truck up north to the city I gotta un-country it and lock up the tool box and clean all the crap out of the bed.

I concur, that is a hell of a column lock. I suspect you guys had some prior intel that these were popular with thieves and otherwise easy to steal?
Yeah second gen Dodges and 6.0 Fords are super easy to steal. A few guys on Alberta Coal rollers makes those column locks for Dodges and Fords. We got that one when we got Kates truck. A few people laughed at them, but saved it last night!
Sure a cordless grinder with a cutoff wheel would get that off in seconds.
