Man that is bad news!!!!! What did the insurance company say? Are you going to rebuild it?

Nope, There's more damage then what the truck is worth. Hopefully I get enough in my insurance to buy my buddy's blazer. He has a 89 with a 6 inch pro comp lift and 35's. Its a real nice truck.

Kinda scary, but looks like the passanger space was ok...

Glad to hear you are ok! What were the spec's on that beast? I like the wheels...

Finally done after 8 months.. Not really.. IM never going to be done. Stroker motor is next

Re: Kinda scary, but looks like the passanger space was ok...

O-Ya, the passager space was fine. All I got out of it was some scapes and bruises and a lump on my cranium. The truck was basically stock. I had just started to fix her up. The wheels were 15X10 Welds Scorpions. I added a flowmaster, stereo system, Warn hubs, and a tow package. I got the transmission and rear end rebuilt. Thats as much as I got done her. O-well, I guess I'll just start over with onther one.

ah it looks fixable....a sledge hammer and a little duct tape sould take care of it..maybe a little bailing wire....no but really sorry about your baby.

so are u goin to buy it back from the insurance compny after u get the cash..normaly u can buy em back for like 200 bucks..then it could be a parts truck...looks like there are still alot of good stuff not destroyed on it

Re: Kinda scary, but looks like the passanger space was ok...

The pics probably don't accurately portray the damage, but I'd still fix it. If you pull the headliner out of my Jimmy you'll see quite a fine collection of sledge hammer dents. Mine was rolled pretty hard once. The cab is still tweaked and the door openings don't line properly anymore so setting the doors is kinda interesting. Judging by the amount of hammering done on my roof from the inside I'd have to say my roof looked similar to yours. The box is pretty wacked but again if your going for a bush truck just pull the worst of it out and spray bomb it. It looks like the cap would still bolt up to the truck but if not gut the tailgate and put on a soft top. Just think, at this point you wouldn't hesitate to break out the sawzall for the fenders!

See how liberating body damage can be?

I'm thinking about making a hunting rig out of it. Take the shell off, add a brushguard, and a new windshield. Hopefully I can have alittle more fun with her.

Ouch!!!!!!

I'm sorry about the truck. Let me get the seats, door panels, and crank windows outta that?

Keep the shiny side up, and the greasy side down.

Looks like a project to me.........Better get started!

ONE2PLAY, I think you have some prime project material there. Sorry about the accident, glad to hear you weren't banged up too bad. I will definitly be looking into a cage for my K5.
