I installed an 8" lift on my burb and my front angle on d60 is really bad what degree shim should I get from Kert at diy4x.Thanks

Unfortunatley, nobody will be able to tell you for certain. Best way to know is to throw an angle finder on there and measure. I wish it were simpler.

I am in the same boat but with 52's, so what degree should one be looking to hit on the front end?

Castor angle should be 6-8* IMO. I prefer to lean towards 8*.

Yeah you have to measure. a guess of 8-12 degrees doesn't really do you any good.
I just cut and turned my front 10bolt a few months back. 4 inch lift + clocked up transfercase = I needed 10 degrees to point my pinion at the right place... 10 degrees made things interesting where the center pin goes into the perch, so they got welded on, and they are the perches now...
Also, 10 degrees would have very negatively affected steering castor so I cut and turned the knuckles.
It was a bunch of work, but i'm happy now that eveything is set up properly.

...but I would be MORE happy if it magicaly turned into a dana60 now that it's done.

I have 8inch superlift springs on my truck now and they have degree shims built in and my angle is decent. But im doing 53inch fronts so i could be in the same boat as you guys, i guess we will see.......

Thanks guys I have 8" bds springs with built in degree shims which is worthless. I have to get correct ones I guess ill get an angle finder and try to figure it out. I got the 42* cv front shaft from Jess at high angle which is bad ass but I know I still need a shim.
