OK, what's the deal with these?? I've read for years that the early GM deisel 4l80s w/ the standalone ECM was the one to get. With this setup it can go into just about any vehicle. But since I finally got one, I've been doing some reading, and keep seeing that it will need to be reprogrammed, or use a gas ECM from a 350-454/4L80. Some say with 4 wires it will swap into a TBI truck. Does anybody have first hand experience with this?? I want to swap it into my Blazer along with the 454, but if it's not gonna work, then I'm gonna get rid of it..
