I had a 1990 Wrangler for 3 years before I got sick of it (Jeep - Just Empty Every Pocket, Just Expect Every Problem, Just Everone Else's Parts, etc).
Personally, I got stuck quite frequently because I was trying to do stuff my little Jeep just couldn't do. I was always very thankful to anyone who pulled me out of my "stuck". I frequently had Nissan's, Toyota's, other Jeeps, Fords, Chevy's, and once or twice a Suzuki. Regardless of what the other person was driving, I thanked them profusely. And if someone was stuck, I'd help out, regardless of make.
The only time I refused to help was when I came across a couple of rednecks in a 70's Bronco with 8" lift and 38's that had gone plowing through a 2 1/2' deep mud hole at a good 40mph or so and had hydrolocked the engine.
I offered my assistance and was told my "pansy ass Jeep toy couldn't mve their real truck". I said that was fine, then drove right on past them in my Jeep with no lift and 30" tires.
So far, the only thing I miss about my Jeep is the size...it fit in some places that my K10 won't. Beyond that, my K10 owns the Jeep hands down.
Anyway, if you like the hobby of 4 wheeling, it shouldnt matter what the other person has...but I did go out with some Jeepers who refused to have anything but Jeeps on the trail with them and it really irritated the hell out of me. The only requirement I have for wheeling with someone is A) Have a 4x4. B) Enjoy the hobby.
