I was driving on this one til Burt4x4 pulled up beside me and said "DUDE YER SHAFT IS BENT" . And i was all like "YEA RIGH YOU DRUNK OR SOMETHIN YO".

And then i was all "I need tools, a beer, and a spare shaft"

Paid like $530 for a re tube/lengthen/balance/yoke on the k20. I just about fell over when I got the bill....sure didn't match the quote I was given

I don't want that to happen!

I got the guy I got the transfer case from going to look to see if he has one in his parts stash tomorrow. But then I would have to go on another four hour round trip to go and get it.

There is absolutely nothing on the 2500HD's that are cheap. That last wheel bearing I bought was 280 bucks and only came with a 1 year warranty.

Thats crazy expensive..lol. I had my 03 hd shaft retubed, balanced for 80.00. It was another 150.00 for both ujoints and a new slip yoke. Thats going all spicer.

Just the slip yoke was 125.00 Plus we already bought the spicer ujoints before we saw the dent!

Sometimes you find an inexpensive option...sometimes you gotta pay the man. It is what it is.

Couldn`t find anything close enough and way cheaper to make it worth while not getting one made.
