I recently custom rigged my vents and replaced my leaking heater core. When I got everything together I had no blower controls. I jumped the thick red wire to the thick purple wire (the normal connection for full speed) and it comes on perfect, which means everything is getting power. I just dont get it, I thought if my resistor went I would get high and nothing else but I have nothing period.

Have you tried a differnt switch? Or jumping any of the other teminals?

Do you have power at the fan switch? If you redid your vents, I would guess something under the dash got knocked off. Chasing power gremlins suck!!!

Yeah I'm starting to think I bashed the resistors together when I pulled the air box apart. If the resistors were mangled enough could it cause the fan to not come on at all?

I don't think you'd have a problem on high. Test for voltage at the resistor with the switch on if you think that's the problem.

If you mangled them, that would probably be the first place I would start.
