Did the K30's ever come with quad shocks?

Alright, here you go:

Are you looking for factory style? If not, you could use a Skyjacker dual shock kit; that's what I have on the rear.

The lower mount is just a longer bolt and a spacer.

yes i realize that, but i need to weld on new lower shock mounts, and i was wondering if anyone knew where to purchase the lower mounts minus the axle housing, thats all. oh and my appologies for the hijack.

Thanx. Now does anyone know where I can get the parts to do quad shocks up front?
I think LMC offers the factory front quad brackets. If not, let me know and I will see if I can find my ticket from mine I got from GM.

dual shocks up front are pretty much just for show now. they had dual shock setup in the 70's/80's because the shocks werent that great, they have gone a long way since then. singles work perfect

Not necessarily so for show. Fords ran quads in the late 70's and still offer them today in the newer trucks.

The big word with running multiple shocks is VALVING. The softer they are valved, the more shocks you can run.

I agree with the older shocks in the old days were crap. Todays technology produces a much better shock.

'81 on the GM trucks marks the first year the quads became available as an option.

i agree with that, those bilsteins 7100 with custom valving are super nice, ive seen a couple stupid duties with dual setups of those and i bet they are sweet:bow:

i wont be running them on my rig tho:doah:
