Did you guys know the selection is unlimited?

I'm just waiting until they make something that's as sturdy as a Buckstop that still has pushbars so I can push **** around, smack a deer at highway speed (we have a problem here) and not even wince. Oh and hopefully not weigh a bajillion pounds because I'm still using the 350.

he will make you what ever you show him a pic / drawing / chicken scratch idea of a bumper . just ask him :waytogo:

Product idea of the day...

Half door kits; 73-87(91) are all basically the same except for some interior panel differences. Make a kit with a template, top cap, interior door panel and maybe a paddle type handle that could go on the new top cap. You could even put a cup holder in the top cap. :D

If you really wanted to get frisky, there is a Dodge on Pirate that did cut down doors with a removable plexi glass window to close it back up.

I'm just an idea man trying to how to give you more $$. :thumb:

half door kit would be sweet.

i would buy if the price was right.

i get extra set of doors to use for this soon anyways.

Once upon a time, Missouri Off Road Outfitters made a kit and it was popular. I remember when they went out of business people were scrambling for that stuff.

i purchased some of his last items.

GARBAGE and sh!ty service from that guy. said 1 thing did another. took over 3 weeks to get the last item and wasnt even as i ordered it.

he had good ideas but crap for service / quality near the end if you ask me.

Oh! I was thinking like HMMWV style doors. Canvas and frame, but only half or zippable (is that even a word?)

Nothing of our own design for a production piece. Lots of custom stuff that probably wouldn't help you much.

If you can design it and put your dimensions on paper, we can build it.

Bump for Diy4x bling!

Ladies & gentlemen, I bring you 1480 driveshaft parts! :pimp:

The t-case flange is 32 spline for a 205 and the driveshaft side is (of course) the 1480 yoke portion of a D60 stub axle. The 2 halves are held together by (4) 1/2" bolts for clamping forces and 4 countersunk to use for alignment purposes.

I really should have put something next to it for perspective, this assembly is so beefy it's crazy!

A HUGE THANKS TO KERT!! for making yet another FINE product!

So you just use the joints that connect the inner and outer shafts of the axle for the driveshafts?

Pretty much. The 1480 joint can do something like 42degress sustained. Can't remember the exact numbers but you can really bend 'em.

If you dont mind asking.. what did you weld that 60yoke with? I have heard conflicting things, i planned on heating mine in an oven first to about 250-300 and burning it in with my miller 180 on full blast w/ .030 then slow cooling it.

I did it with straight up wire feed. Lincoln L56. It welds a little differently but no porous.

Did the same thing with my Blazer and they have held up to some considerable torque.

You think you're little caddy engine puts out some torque Kurt? :haha:

I think if it can handle that, it should be good for anything :thumb:
