Didn\'t think it was possible!!!

Was talking with the wife last night and I suggested lining the tub w/ Durabak or something, for cleanliness and ease of maintenance. Before I could finish selling the idea to her, she said "YES, that's a good idea". I was dumbfounded that she was thinking like me. Now if I can just get her to think of rear bumpers, I can get a KMA too.

Cleanliness and ease of maintainence huh? I will have to try that aproach the next time I bring upp lifting the truck.It will after all keep the truck cleaner, and make oil-changing a brease.... My wife is just jeaulous of the time and money spent so far I guess. Hard to get any enthusiasm from her.

I know what you mean by jealousy over paying more attention to the truck than the women. But hey, you never know what she will say unless you ask right?!

Try doing what I did. At first she was all jealous and envious of my K5. "Why do you spend so much time and money on a truck" she says... Whelp, I took her out wheeling one day and she saw how capable my rig was compared to the other rigs we encountered. I ended up pulling out 5 people that day from mud, ruts, embankments, etc.... To show her why I spend so much time, I went over, through each spot that the previous guy got stuck at. I told her, now if I didnt spend so much time making sure everything was right, we would be stuck here. She now understands....... I still get a little atitude when I spend money, but not so much as with spending time on it..... Hope this helps you.

Come on!, you really think she just agreed to it WITHOUT any strings attached. It's a ploy. You see when you're done with she'll be asking for some new piece of furnature or clothes or something. Beware of the wife!
