Hello to all the guys at CK5!--I know I've been AWOL for nearly two long years,---no,I wasn't in jail!-- it took me that long to get a video card for my computer that I used to post here on! (thank GOD for flea markets, found a guy selling them used for 3 bucks--the graphics stink, but its better than a black monitor blank screen!)...for some reason another OLD computer I have wouldn't let me register or log on,even when my membership wasn't expired yet..

Nothing much has changed here though,my mom is 81 now, and still not doing that great,I still have the 82 K20 Stepside diesel, but it's getting rustier by the day,and has had the snot beaten out of it from all the plowing I've had to do since I got it in '03,but the 6.2 is still clacking!..and to my surprise, the TH400 lives on too..thing should have been dead long ago ,the way I've abused it and been forced to neglect its maintenence!~..

The truck is in need of everything it needed when I bought it and more now, like I need to replace the oil pan still, found a nice minty used one but haven't had good enough health to install it yet,(long story)--thank God for J-B Weld "Waterweld Putty",the stuff has held fast since a year ago to keep the oil IN the engine..it needs a master cylinder, rear wheel cylinders, brake and tranny lines are crispy and could pop anyday too,so are the oil cooler lines, and the exhaust at the manifolds on the drivers side crumbled into dust last week when I last plowed my driveway,so it wont be seeing much road use for awhile..needs the entire exhaust system now..

My eyesight ain't so great now,and using the computer is dofficult for me lately..been real sick since thanksgiving, had 2 near death choking experiences and then a month long bout with my bowels shutting down, and have a duodenal ulcer too, lost 30 lbs in 3 weeks, took me since january to gain 20 lbs of it back, now I can only eat soft foods like pasta and swallowing is still difficult, haven't had the courage to go get cameras shoved down my throat, but it looks like I may have too,its not getting better ..but at least my intestines have started working fairly normal again..thought I was a dead man for awhile, still not feeling that great now,but much better than the past 2 months!..

Haven't had the cash to do much of anything due to being ill,so that's part of why I've been absent so long here..dont mean to write a book, but just wanted to let everyone here I used to talk with they HAVE been missed, and I didn't abandon you all...hope things are going well for everyone ,and they have had better luck than me healthwise!....hoping I can get some cash to renew my membership, but as it is I was forced to cash in some of my retirement fund to live on,so things are tight as can be,no "frills" allowed...
