Difference between D44 and 10b shafts?

If they are the same strength then whats the difference between the two? what other differences are there between them??

I've been told the spline pressure angle is different.

The length is different. Most 10-bolt shafts are 28-spline. D44 is 30-spline.
 
Inner shafts are different lengths, and i also heard something about the pressure angle of the splines being different as well.
 
Same U-joint as long as you aren't talking about a really old D44.
