Would a D44 open front , and a D70 with a detroit locker , 4.10's be a good investment for my 91 jimmy ?
350 TBI ,700R , NP241 , stock 10 Bolts right now(3.08's)
Used as a DD. with as much offroading as possible

with stock size tires, the D70 will drag on stuff. So would a 14 bolt. But you can shave them to get a little more clearance. Do you ever plan on running bigger tires? If you can get a good deal, do it. Its a good investment for the long term.

Bear in mind I love my 10/12 bolt , but I feel if you need lower gearing , and these are available locally for dirt cheap , do it . Bolting them on is a lot better than paying someone to d a regear , or buying tools and parts to do it yourself . If you had low gears already I'd say run what you have until it breaks
