I want to disable my antilock brakes, I cant stand the damned things. Im studying the manual right now and it says there is a fuse for

DRAC, Anti-Lock Braking system, VCM IGN-3

that is the describtion for the usage on the one page. While on the fuse box it just says Brake.

If I remove this fuse is anything going to be damned to the DRAC or VCM IGN-3. THat and what the hell do they mean?

Its on a 96 S10 Blazer

If you mess with the DRAC your speedo will not work.
Just unplug the ABS unit. It is under the hood, just follow the brake lines.

I used to do the same thing when i took my 98 Z-71 off road. I always plugged it in afterwords though. Sometimes i did drive it home first, but it would always get plugged back in.

I did it because they can hamper you offroad, but on the road a properly functioning ABS system will not hurt.
