Disc Brake Conversion Problem

The rotors I got from Kragen had the bigger counterbore. The ones that were on my 8-lug front D44 had the smaller counterbore. I used the new rotors on the front and the old rotors (with the small c-bore) on the rear. I just slapped it together because I got lazy /forums/images/graemlins/whistling.gif. What I should have done was grind down the heads of the lugs till they fit...on the other hand I have had zero problems in the last 2 years that I have had the rear disc brakes /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif

Found a set of Wagner rotors that have the correct counter bore. Ended up going through 3 brands before getting the right ones. Things sure go together a lot easier when you have the right parts... Thanks again to everyone for the suggestions.

Good! Glad you got it worked out!! /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif /forums/images/graemlins/woot.gif /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif

When I bought my TWO rotors from the SAME autozone, one had the correct recess for the stud heads and the other was too small, which I didnt notice until I pressed in the studs and cracked it /forums/images/graemlins/doah.gif. I took it back and got the correct one for free /forums/images/graemlins/whistling.gif. When I bought the two, one was packaged in an old box and one in a new one, but I dont remember which was which. I made sure to check the replacement I got...
