how much ya'll think it'll be worth?? I mean the guy did it right but was gonna sell me the whole rearend for $250.(stainlesssss hardware and all)
Think i should do it or what??

Just want opinions ;)

EDIT: rearend i mean

Your lookin at around 100 bucks just for the brackets to do the rear disc brake conversion, so is it worth 150. I'd say yes

I've sold several rear D60's they usually go for $100-200.

With discs, its probably worth $250 but it might be tough to sell for more. Its certainly worth more if you find the right buyer.

yeah i plan on actually using it in my Blazer. I'm converting everything over from my big truck to it so i'll just buy it friday and if i don't like it turn around and sell it. I'm sure someone will want it :dunno:

Plus the gearset matches the dana 44 i got under my truck now

Just be aware that the shafts are 1/2 ton sized.

If you want the bigger ring gear and stronger housing, the D60 rear will be an upgrade in those areas.

hmm did not know that.

Wonder if i should just hold out and find a 14ff. :dunno: i got the 14sf right now but thought the 60 would be a pretty good upgrade.

Oh and Chris as i was typing this i saw your truck on trucks. Love seeing it in action even if the clutch linkage did come out :D

The FF D60 shafts are 30 spline and cut at the same pressure angle as 30 spline 10/12 bolt stuff. That makes their major diameter 1.31", the rear D60 shafts I measured were actually smaller at the minor diameter than my spare 12 bolt shafts.

For reference, 14 bolt shafts are 1.625" and should be more than twice as strong.

**** that stupid clutch linkage :angry1:

That wasn't the first time it popped out but it was the last, I fixed it right after that trip. That's the last trail issue I've had, more than a year ago. Here's hoping for good luck at Blazer Bash

And I'm surprised they (xtreme4x4) pull stupid stuff like saying that several trucks had to be towed off the trail . Nobody had to be towed at all, mine was the only issue and it took a couple minutes to get the linkage back together.

Oh, and thanks :D

well it's set in my head. Just wait to find a 14ff. I didn't need to spend that $250 anyhow :D

Yeah i know alot of guys that have had problems with clutch linkages. they usually pop off in the mud holes on them guys though :haha:
