All,
I have a fuel injection system on a '87 Chevy Blazer that is 100% computer controlled. I am removing my old computer controlled distributor, and I am installing a brand new vacuum advanced distributor.

So, this is where I need your help. What do I do with the existing wires that currently go to my distributor? I fear if I just leave them unplugged, then I'll be starring at a Check Engine light all the time. I know I need to plug in the pink acc hot wire to feed the new distributor, but what do I do with all the other wires? :dunno:

You are not going to be able to do this swap without putting a carb on.

The ECM uses the distributor to determine when to run the fuel pump, injection calculations, even to know when the engine is running. The engine won't run without it. Unless, of course, you install an aftermarket ECM like a megasquirt.

I have no idea why you would want to get rid of a far superior distributor in the first place? If you like the coil in cap design better, you can use an older TPI distributor with TBI.
