I just saw that too…I just a post on the DIY4X FB that they are closing.They are finishing up outstanding orders that are in progress and refunding those that are not. Sad day for the square body world.

Sad, hate to see them go but not surprised he hasn’t been interested in these trucks for some time and been focusing on drag racing.

Yep. I have his b52 kit and started with his basic roll cage kit. I’ve bought a lot of stuff from him. Met him at blazer bash once too and got a t-shirt. Super cool guy.
Maybe an opportunity for Vintage Engineering, at least the A bomb.
Crap! I had plans to stock up for upcoming project.
I knew something was up months ago when products were removed from the website.

A short while back I was looking for a bunch of Kert's stuff and I found the video him and his wife made about how they were going to focus on the bigger stuff and remove the small stuff from the site. I was wondering when he said how long it took to make things like doors.
I know it's tough to compete with companies like Motobilt, Barnes, and Metalcloak that crank out shit like crazy. But he had a lot of stuff that no one else does.
I still have some of the stuff from when he started decades ago as a young whippersnapper. Sent a lot of folks his way also.

Sad to see it close, I have a few items from him on the Cherry Bomb. Main one is the staked cage floor plates in my cage. Built solid products, looking forward to see where he goes with iron monger!

When we first started down the road of permitting and insurance, he was a HUGE help. Wouldn't have happened without DIY4x's support.
Bummer. His steering box end cap made adding hydro assist to my truck super easy.
Their willingness to do one offs for me will be missed. Probably won’t be replaced either. Every part I bought from him was unique.
