DIY4X customizable rock sliders!

Excellent Christmas gift here. Don't wait too long.

Just hoping to keep these on your mind. Baby is due 5/20 (burb is our only vehicle that will fit 3 car seats) and told my wife I would have it baby ready by my b-day 4/23.

Thank you!

Check my thread. I have a set of his. Love them.

Bringing this back to the Top!

As I buy more and more from DIY I'm increasingly impressed with his customer service and quality of work so now to push Kurt on his engineering skills and bring up the subject of a set of these sliders for the early (73-76) K5's AGAIN. Lectric brought up the question of using the rear seat ledge and it was never adressed past that. I'm thinking a bracket could also be fabbed to replace the non existant body mount... What say you Kurt? What dimensions do you need to make this happen? My heart is set on these sliders so appease me and get the gears spinning in your head on how to make this work. My persistance prevents me from letting this die!:D

Bring me your truck and I'll make it happen. Its not to far of a drive really.:D

Pretty sure the dash will go in. Haven't tried it yet though. Not too many pre 81's left alive out here in the rust belt.

Same scenario for the sliders. I'd love to make them if I had the rig to set it up on and do some fitting and design work. Last pre 81 blazer we had, you could have thrown a silver dollar through one side, out the other and never touched the truck.
