Im putting a 2001 Dmax Allison with all the elctronics for everything incl abs seats and guages, Ive made my own guages to integrate with the old dash and new electronics. Id post some pics but I am not allowed so go look up Madspeed over at Dieselplace in other vehicals, any other vehical

Pay your membership and post those pic's. I know you got $30 spare, so support the site and get those pic's up:haha:. BTW I'm 01duramax6spd over on DP so that's how I know you.

Hell, you can pad that amount and not be frowned upon too much.

Thanks Russell. One problem with attachments is that nonpaying members can't view the pictures. So Madspeed still can't see his own pictures. With linked pictures; everybody can see.
Madspeed, so what are you going to change, the transfer case or the front axle? And why did you keep the factory D-max motor mounts. I know the D-max mounts are probably better than the 72 mounts, but the D-max mounts aren't really that good. I know because my brother has the 8.1L which uses the same mounts. He has replaced one set already and it looks like another set is going bad.
 
Agreed photobucket would have been a bit nicer for non members...

Awesome swap!! I do have to say the Duramax is one 'ugly' engine though...it looks like a big magnet that was dragged through a parts bin with seemingly random crap stuck to it. :crazy:

You have NO idea what is going on behind the scenes at CK5 these days....

Rene and I (and probably others) are on a daily crusade to weed-out newly signed-on "users" who intend to spam the boards here. I have personally banned probably 50 people in the last two weeks, and I'm sure Rene has done an equal amount if not more.

If it weren't for the new 15 post rule, there would be a LOT more direct-linked porn images showing up (like we had a few weeks ago) in The Garage....not cool. This new rule gives the Mods time to go through the new user sign-on list and do some pre-emptive pruning. The effect is that you guys will rarely ever see the volume of spam that would otherwise flood this site.

The pay is low, but the long hours make up for it....

Close to 150 for me in the last few weeks...I did spend a few hours one night and went back through September as well. Shocking to see spam accounts outnumber regular ones at about 3 to 1.
