Do I have ABS?

How can I tell if I have ABS in my Suburban in my Signature. I bought it from a Dealer used and they did not say anything about it.

90 and 91 had 2 wheel anti lock if i remember correctly....im thinking it was RWAL (rear wheel). I dont' remember if it stays engaged in 4wheel drive or not thouhg.

Do you have ABS?

Yes, everyone has abs. Unless your body fat is relatively low you won't be able to see them, though.

Okay I was just curious, because there are times when you jam on the brakes they just seem to go soft and then if you slowly apply them they seem to grip harder.
That and all the other ABS systems I have used, the brake pedal pulses and you can hear a humm from the system.
I am guessing the ABS for the 90 and 91 is just a controlled pressure bleed that is varied based on the VSS input for the rate of deacceleration?
