Do stock diesels (Duramax) have turbo whistle?

I am so sad to hear you don’t like the turbo whistle!
LBZ ran 06-07.5 and if you can find one running at 6k I would be very skeptical, I paid 19k for an 07 with 150 something thousand miles on it, I love it but forewarning I can hear the turbo whistle even stock exhaust and everything else. I live for the turbo noise and hearing the turbo vanes cycle at idle through the open exhaust....
