Do the HVAC controls have a light behind them?

Kind of a stupid question, but last time my truck was running i noticed this part was dark...are they supposed to be lit when the lights are on?

If you pull out your stereo you can acess it, (unless you have gorilla hands) Take out your stereo. reach up and you'll find a "twist and lock" light socket right above the "defrost" icon on the controls. That is the only light for the control head. They twist hard but it can be done. I'm also pretty sure you twist it counterclockwise just like a bolt but try it both ways just incase. lol
