Do You Let The "Little Woman" Drive Your Blazer??

Here is my wife being gentle with my truck.

My wife won't drive mine ever. I'd let her but she won't touch a manual trans. The only other vehicle I have with an auto is the bus and she wouldn't consider that except maybe out of town.

my wife doesn't want to... but I would let her.

Think of it this way, if she does damage your rig... you will have all the power you need to add a lot of spendy bling parts to it, and you'll be able to hold it over her for the rest of the relationship. Macheivellian? (sp!) maybe... lol!

Nope. I got real tired of helping her into the passenger seat a long time ago. Plus she couldn't figure out how to get it into reverse or drive. In short, no. Thats why I'm going manual. Then she has no chance.

I bought the Sub early this year(we had and still have a tercel). Wife says she hates it but every time I go to leave the house Im staring at the car:rolleyes:.

Mine drives the K5. (well...someone has to drive me home from the pub!!). Unfortunately she has put the only 2 dents in the truck, both on the same door which i suppose is a blessing! She drives it really well.

But she is NOT driving my new Dodge Ram Daytona!:D

Yeah I try to get my gf to drive the truck, but she sees all the time and money I have put into it and shes kind of intimidated. I usually talk her into it though, and actually kept it an auto so she could drive it when she wanted to. But all that is going to change once I get a cummins dropped in.

Yep.. I let my wife drive my truck.. and my Camaro too.. My buddy's wife Vanessa also gets to drive my stuff.. they drive better than most guys I know.

Also, the girls are both skilled detailers, so everything comes back washed and waxed, lol.

My daughter is going to drive my 78 K5 when she gets her license, I know that if she gets in an accident she’ll walk away. She is 14 right now…

My wife refuses to drive mine:D . And being pregnant she can't hardly get in the damn thing right now anyways. Hell she even hates RIDING in the truck:doah: .

First of all I LOVE my wife and share everything with her.She is a "girly girl" big time but she has driven everything that I have ever owned.Right now we have the 89 K5 and a 2002 WS6 RAm Air Trans Am(6-speed).I just put a lift on the K5 but my wife is 5'8" (long legs, big tits and movie star looks):eek1: and has no problem climbing in and givin' it hell. She wants another Trans Am and with a 6-speed to beat all!:D My daughter on the other hand is totally embarrased to be seen in it.Just yesterday they were going to her dance rehearsal and she dreaded the entire drive there. The K5 has very loud exhaust so my wife tells her "This K5 has the sound that makes people turn around".She is always making up little rhymes.Anyway ,when they arrived at the rehearsal my daughter jumped out of the K5 and ran away from it as fast as she could so as not to be seen near it.:haha:

yep the wife drives mine all the time on the trail. SHe has never drove it on the pavement. I told her if she breaks it or rolls it she has to learn how to fix it. So a lot of the time she is beating the crap out of it but it can hadle it. I am helping her build a 70k5 right now.

The first time I let my gf drive my k5 was because I said something bad.... lol it made her happy again. I also almost crapped my pants when we were about 3" from sideswiping a tree!

I let her drive sometimes. It's a trail beater so I don't care about hitting things though. Also, this is off road only. However, she's a very good driver and I'd let her take my '93 for a spin in a heartbeat, but I have good insurance. :D

After I let her drive my truck the first time on the trails, I had a hard time taking back the driver's seat for the weekend. I yelled at her once, but she was screaming down a very narrow trail without worrying about the fact that there were plenty of rocks around that could easily slash a sidewall. She ignored me when I told her twice to slow down in a normal tone so I had to raise my voice. After all, I knew she wasn't going to foot the bill for a $300 tire even if she was the one that messed it up.

It's fun to let her drive but I still poured the blood, sweat, and tears into it, and it's still my rig, so as much as I love her, when I want to drive, I get to drive.
