2001 Dodge 2500 4x4 quad cab was stolen. when it was recovered they had wired a window out of my 2000 they also stole that has not been recovered in place. latches were broke and it was just hanging. so I got a new window with new latches. however; they broke the top captured nut that holds it in place on the door itself. I have searched Google with all kinds of different terminology and have not found anything. surely I am not the first guy this has happened to. I was thinking of buying a 6MM-1 rivet nut to put in place of the captured nut.

any thoughts or ideas?

thank you

I am going to try to see if I can get a 6mm rivet nut to bite enough to hold the mounting bracket to keep the glass in. I bought glass to go in it; also bought the passenger side to replace the one on the dually. when they were stolen they busted the driver's side on the 4x4 and passenger on the dually. 4x4 is out of the transmission shop and the dually should be soon.
