So I did a bit of searching about the topic but haven't been able to come up with a concrete answer, and I'd rather know for sure than mess up my front end. I have found that most dana 60's have a 1 5/16" pinion nut, but colbystephens had a 1 1/4" fit his dodge front. I have both, so that's a non-issue.
I just want to confirm that the dodge dana 60 uses the same 'stuff' as a chevy, with the exception of the outers. Gears/pinion/pinion nut/shims to set preload instead of a crush sleeve. I don't want to order my new pinion and nut and have it not fit for some reason, or get it, put it on then tighten it down and have my gears tear into each other. That crap gets expensive and I already blew through my tax return supporting the local driveline shop.
