Dodge Dana 60 questions. I found one cheap.

Ok I just got off the phone with a guy that has a set of dana 60's. Dana 60's front & rear axles, 4:10 gears from Dodge pickup. He says he thinks they are from a 79 dodge 1 ton. They are kingpin he said. Ther are $500 for both. Think I should pick them up?

take them both and use th rear. the 60 in my eyes is an even choice with the 14 bolt if its full floater. way more gear choices. parts for the most part cost about the same. hel! some of them are the same i think. bearings and races are for 14 bolt and chevy d60.

the D70 is the next thing up from a 14 bolt.
