im lookin for pics of the original big dummy chevy of frank schettini that was in the movie armed and dangerous from '86. ive searched and had no luck

I believe he's looking for pics of the original Big Dummy that, iirc, was a regular truck on 44" Cepeks. I may still have the mag issue with it on the cover, I'll look around.

Wow, retro 80's stuff. The suspension design approach sure is unique , with leaf packs above AND below the axle tubes (as seen in the link posted by yellowK20).

freaking pink holly hell
gezzz

O and those shocks must have blown peoples minds back then, huh CK5 old guys.... :)

I can remember thinking a dozen or so shocks was cool...

i remember it having ground hawgs on it. in one scene they are facin forward then the next scene when john candy knifes one its facin backwards on a much narrower wheels than the rest

I have the Four Wheeler issue of this truck, too, but its put away and I'm not getting them out either. :doah:

Yep, I've got it somewhere... Cover truck with a bikini girl and a bunch of new parts scattered around it (maybe a Christmas issue?). Real tall with lots of shocks, red and white painted leaf springs, etc - pure 80's. :pimp:

Sorry buddy, I have no idea. I'll look thru some old stacks this weekend.

Well, I gave it a quick look thru a few stacks but didn't find the mag I'm thinking of. I'm sure I've got it but it's probably buried in a big tote full of 4wd mags dating back to the mid 80's. :doah:
